Guest guest
Hello to my friends, Two things caught my attention today. One was Phil`s description of the Circle of eternity, The other was Niz saying that the Universe doesn`t contain me, I contain the Universe. I see the Universe contained in the circle, I understand the Absolute Nature outside of the circle, holding it. By understanding that, there is no center ( I AM )anymore, or need to seek happiness within the circle. There is no trying to change or improve, because perfection and truth is all around the circle. It is found! Inside the circle is a perfect balance of opposites.. and yet, its suffering stays of concern ... I can`t very well say : oh well, it is all a perfectly balanced illusion that doesn`t belong to me. Touching the outside of the circle would make one a direct participant into holding that circle until there is nothing to hold anymore. The nature of the circle ( a desire to know and experience,) is all in the hand of the circle dwellers isn`t it ? I hope to make some sense to you.. Patricia Well, I wouldn't say that the nature of the circle is in the hands of the circle dwellers, inasmuch as there are no actual circle dwellers. As you say, the circle is contained within the Absolute, and the Absolute 'holds' it. I guess I see how you release the need for happiness by understanding that the circle is contained within perfection, but that understanding isn't quite enough for me. I need a deep understanding of the dualistic nature of experience itself. All experience is relative, and we always stand at the center of our own self created happy/unhappy duality. There is nothing that can occur in physicality that can bring you a permanent happiness. If your life situation improves, you quickly normalize to it and your happiness level returns exactly to the neutral point. The mind ensures that there will be no 'duality tipping'. The only way to begin to experience more love, joy and peace is to step outside of the circle of duality by removing attachment to what occurs inside the circle.
