Guest guest
Regarding " surrender " , the prefix " su " means " self " or " oneself " . One of the meanings of the word " render " is...To give up a possession, claim, or right: abandon, abdicate, cede, demit, forswear, hand over, quitclaim, relinquish, renounce, resign, surrender, waive, yield. OBy putting " su " and " render " together you have " giving up the possession of oneself " . To turn yourself over to. Of course the " self " cannot do this intentionally via any attempt or strategy. However, it is *accomplished* when its seen that there is no " self " that could possibly be turned over, surrendered, etc. Clarity does the trick (my view). :-) Michael < Message: 11 < Sat, 18 Feb 2006 05:29:32 -0000 < " billrishel " <illusyn < surrender (((Re: deep peace < There is nothing " one " can do. < Surrender is not that " one " gives up. < Surrender is in seeing the folly of < any *doing*. < Bill
