Samantha: Yes, I read you correctly. Nothing for me to save face

from. In my little understanding of life as I know it, experience

it, whatever, animals do indeed have concepts. The concept

precedes the understanding. They have concepts from which they

respond from or to or with. Not unlike yourself. Perhaps a little

more instinctive than yourself, but basically the same. You preach

non-dualism right?

 

P: If by that you mean they are capable of

abstract thinking. I don't think the evidence

from countless animal intelligence studies supports

that. But, hey, if it makes you appreciate animals

more, why not? Animals need all the respect and

protection they can get. Humans with their

thoughtless, and cruel treatment of the planet and

animals have proven that we act more like a virus than

as rational primates.
