Guest guest
Once the illusionary nature of the world is discovered the search for the " real " begins. Unfortunately this very search creates a big split: here - the illusion / there - the real. The greater the effort to reach the " real " the greater the gap between the day to day illusion and the unreachable " real " . It is a frustrating situation, and one holds on to the belief in the " real " like a hungry dog to a bone. It is given names and its realization becomes the only hope. Hints like " the real is here/now " create short relief, but on the long run the whole situation becomes even worse. One feels stupid as even the " here/now " cannot be seen. The blame goes to the " ego " which... alas... wakes up again every morning. Then, slowly it may dawn that something went wrong. If the real exists, should it not be in the open light? Why should it hide itself. Maybe it is not seen because it is too obvious? When the frustration has reached its peak one may be ready to face the truth: the illusion and the real are one and the same. There is nothing behind the perceived illusion. There is only the perceiving. This might feel painful at the first moment, because all hopes for a grandiose future are gone. But then it is felt that everything becomes crystal clear, fresh, open. Relaxation into " what is " happens now. Stefan
