People brought him food and gifts packed in grocery bags which he accepted with divine grace and humility. A student came to see him one day, and stayed as day after day this guru talked and talked about his wisdom and knowlege that life is a dream, and that he didn't exist as a separate being and most of all he kept insisting there was no I and that he did not exist. This went on and on until the student, weary of the repitition and tiring of hearing the voice of the great guru, left to continue on his way. Don't forget to dot your I's, he muttered softly to himself. Larry Epston
Guest guest
It was time for the old jester to leave town.....his heart yearned for quieter climes. He had planned to slip out in the middle of the night........but had overslept. His belongings fitted neatly in the two grocery bags that he had strapped to his back. Some of the children saw him on his way out of town and began jeering and throwing stones. The adults picked up on the fun and he bruised and bloodied as he swung free of the high wall that surrounded the city. 'Don't forget to dot your I-s " ........he muttered softly to himself. toombaeu
