Guest guest
Human beings are born with the mind, We cannot deny this gift, it's precious, and it's cursed... It's what has been manifested for ages, And only those who are being subdued to what is outside, That is being slaves to desire/fear etc.../are subjects to unreasonable suffering, That is not knowing the consequences of the mental activity, The only way to get rid of the mind, Is by the use of the mind, It's very intelligent, But it cannot answer its own question of " Who am I? " ... Realized, I am now, If no question is given, The mind gives answers, Constant babababababababab and non-sense, If one's conscious or aware of this mind-battle, One should quit it by asking many questions, What is going on? Who is doing this? What am I thinking? To whom are these thoughts...? What am I to worry about? To whom are all desire and fear? And of course, What am I? or Who am I? No matter how smart or endlessly wandering the mind is, Is must be coming back to the source... Work on the breath retention, Hold that breath if one has to... We'll see how long can the mind be wandering? Who am I? ~no-me~ dennis_travis33 <dennis_travis33 wrote: --- In Nisargadatta , " methusalum " <methusalum wrote: > > Is there only one soul or a completely soulless existence, what blind > superstition is this?
