Guest guest
Even after that last breath is stopped, If one is aware of this process, (through awareness of awareness), It's like having a dream inside in pool, filled with water, in which breathing is always constant... It is only the perception of the mind that fools us to believe that stop breathing is dead... believe or not, nobody dies, Please note that: stopping one's breath is natural, it comes from years of mindful training, it happens naturally in a case of kundalini wakeup, it's like lucid dreaming, similar to that of OBE.... if one is totally aware of this process, it's like having multiple characters witnessing each other, like it was said, " awareness of awareness " ... since it's just a great perception concerning death or life, there is total surrender due to love, that is, lacking of desire and fear... which are the two critical aspects that keep us all clinging on to life as we realize it... Ramana stopped his breath due to such great fear of death, he took that initiative by facing with what was frightening the most in his childhood. Instead of dying, he came back and relived telling the tale... it was said that he was realized after that....!!! ~no-me~ dennis_travis33 <dennis_travis33 wrote: --- In Nisargadatta , " dennis_travis33 " <dennis_travis33 wrote: > > Nisargadatta , no-me <nomemxp@> wrote: > > > > Human beings are born with the mind, > > We cannot deny this gift, > > it's precious, and it's cursed... > > > > It's what has been manifested for ages, > > And only those who are being subdued to what is outside, > > That is being slaves to desire/fear etc.../are subjects to > unreasonable suffering, > > That is not knowing the consequences of the mental activity, > > > > The only way to get rid of the mind, > > Is by the use of the mind, > > It's very intelligent, > > But it cannot answer its own question of > > " Who am I? Guest guest
Marc, You are welcome!! And thanks for your insightful response. Yeah, sometime, I just weigh how much information is necessary, or just poking here and there. Sometime I might get in too deep for certain concepts, especially, when it comes to the mind, body and consciousness. One more concept that I'd like to point out here is this: Having beaten the mind until it's all dead (almost though), I meant the Ego-mind, the thinking mind, which can only be minimized, through contemplation of Kundalini or Yoga etc...! Self realization is important for all spiritual seeker. This can only be done once, and when it wakes up, it is irreversible...!! About experiencing the Void: Is like being inside a village of souls, Is like being in the wilderness filled with gap, and silence, and inside the gap, it is no long a gap or emptiness anymore, but a pool filled with light, very peaceful, and very tranquil, no utter of words, no whisper of sound, no music, no noise, no taste, but a great feeling of God's energy.... Is like being surrounded by millions of souls, Even being inside a crownd of million, Is like being in solitude...(It's not easy to adapt oneself to this simplicity of life again...) This brain, the on-going mind battle, must continue, continue to live, even upon the Enlightenment whatsoever...it must adapt to circumstances and situations... Upon waking up, The brain has been washed with nectar of Truth, It's been rewound to where it used to be, With bit more and fancy upgrade of the mental energy... The other side of life, or whatever the name, astral world...something like this, is such a lonely and happy place....one might cry with happy tears...upon experiencing this. Upon coming back to this world, the physical world, And realize how, all living organism are such vulnerable...so very vulnerable...very much so, very much, And what a place this is...! What brought this body-mind back here? That's our dearest friends: Desire and fear...(the will to live and let lived) All there is, is a pool of Energy, No more, no less There is so much energy...inside this gap, which is not really a gap, it's like being inside a bottle of water, we are, in the physical domain, being marinated, with this pure God's given energy. How are we marinated? Simply look at wounds, sickness or whaterver, all of which are body-mind sensations. The mind perceives pain as being the opposite of pleasure. They will be cured one way or another, sooner or later. Hunger is also pain. And how is it cured? By giving the body with food and nutrition, and these are also the medicine. We should consider eating as giving the body great medicine. Sometime, people's hunger is bigger than the other, and it is just great pain, based on how much one is used to sensation. It is an on going pain...as long as the body-mind continues to live, we are always going to live with this hunger, pain! Consciousness has its own pain, that is the mind. How does one cure this pain? By educating oneself with wisdom of the sages and gurus or those who come before us. As body, we are like pickle hearings...that is the case of the Awakening of the Kundalini (which is beyond this message). But mind the mind!! It's all that we have to play with, and we must make the good use of it. Go out and enjoy the senses. Spring is here! Don't waste even a minute to do what can be done now. That is what the energy is supposed to do, empowering the living organism, so that we feel the love...and enjoying having the senses! Some are attached more to these senses than the other, but we all should know that everything has been taken care off. Nothing's ever happened. And what a better way to use this energy than to be cosmically connected to others, through cosmic love...! ~no-me~ dennis_travis33 <dennis_travis33 wrote: --- In Nisargadatta , no-me <nomemxp wrote: > > Even after that last breath is stopped, > If one is aware of this process, (through awareness of awareness), > It's like having a dream inside in pool, > filled with water, in which breathing is always constant... > It is only the perception of the mind that fools us to believe > that stop breathing is dead... > > believe or not, nobody dies, > > Please note that: > > stopping one's breath is natural, > it comes from years of mindful training, > it happens naturally in a case of kundalini wakeup, > it's like lucid dreaming, > similar to that of OBE.... > > if one is totally aware of this process, > it's like having multiple characters witnessing each other, > like it was said, " awareness of awareness " ... > since it's just a great perception concerning death or life, > there is total surrender due to love, > that is, lacking of desire and fear... > which are the two critical aspects that keep us all clinging on to life > as we realize it... > > Ramana stopped his breath due to such great fear of death, > he took that initiative by facing with what was frightening the most in his childhood.
