Marc It did indeed! That realization gave me a new lightness and freedom. I had become stuck in the mire for a time. Strangely, the end result is not the expression of gentle words but rather an absolute intolerance for the egoic nonsense that goes on here. Is that ego? Of course! But it hides behind nothing, and that is the difference. There's no judgment and I really do understand it and it's purpose, but I notice that I go through cycles where I desperately need to hear the truth, even if it's me who is speaking it. Love is not what most think it is at all. It is not all gentleness and sweetness. It is truth. The sword of truth is love, and contained within it's violence is a remarkable peace borne of freedom as well. Phil very good Phil...Althought we are forever trying to bend love`s qualities into a kind of self serving principle, it is as you say: the sword of truth. Yet, It is a tender fire compared to the burning fire of Karma. I don`t know why but you remind me a book I read a long time ago and thoroughly enjoyed : Michael Naimy <the book of Mirdad>..
