Guest guest
by controlling, one resists to changes, as a result, the mind is self-contradicting, based on what has been conditioned before result. Samsakara (pre-disposition) is an example of this conditioned mind... It appears that other living organism are the slave to the brain...which is a major organism which allows human to behave normally as human. Even inside a human being, there are great conflicts, many wars of different living organism, trying to gain control over the energy among other independent living oragnism (liver, kidney, lungs etc...). Note: (this experience comes from self-contemplation) Our main task as Consciousnessis to allocate an equal amount of energy level spent at any given organism, just enought allow them to functions the way they are programmed to do just that. Also, we must unite these living organism to work together and be at peace. As long as there is war over the body-mind organism, there can never be peace outside. Once these living organism are worn and torn, the Self or Consciousness, just keeps on moving to the next assignment, looking for spare parts. Ultimately, the brain, that is the mind, must be switched off so that other living organism can have a rest. Soon the mind is at rest, the body is at rest, and our job is over! It's time to go home. And where is that home? Cosmic pool of energy, resting comfortably inside a cradle of the Divine and Cosmic Love...at God's hand!! The next day, the brain is switched on, the body is on, the light of Consciousness is turned on, we are on our next assignment!!! That is our only task, to allow the body-mind organism to function until they are no longer needed us (Energy). Where do we go from here? That depends on the assignment given by the will of that Divine, the Lila (divine play). If no assignment, we are now, just swimming inside His cradle of light!!!! To accept or not accept, there is no other alternative!!! That is Lila, the Divine play of God!! How to switch off the brain? By contemplating on the Self. ~no-me~ lissbon2002 <lissbon2002 wrote: --- In Nisargadatta , ADHHUB wrote: > > > In a message dated 3/2/2006 11:29:18 AM Pacific Standard Time, > Nisargadatta writes: > > Thu, 02 Mar 2006 13:43:53 -0000 > " lissbon2002 " <lissbon2002 > Actually I think there is plenty of volition and this is precisely > this volition which makes our world into such a horrible mess. > > Len > Ahh, and so releasing judgment is going to be a difficult task as long as > you believe that people choose to behave badly. This effort leads to most horrible conflicts, like war. However the effort is so old, so automatical, so conditioned by the past that it isnt being experienced as an effort but as an automatism. This might make seem it effortless but it is not the case. It takes a lot of self knowledge, the observation of own impulses to realize that the automatical response is full of fear and effort, while the absence of this automatical, controlling response is in fact effortless.
