exactly so, it's interesting in wayne dyer's new book he talks of destroying the

ego. this in and of itself is remarkably funny. destroying the illusion doesn't

negate it's purpose and why Divinity sought to give humanity this gift of the

mind/intellect and ego.

Yeah, it's only a problem in the mind, but that includes our entire

experience so I can't dismiss it. However, the point was that perhaps it's

only a

problem because of a lack of understanding about what is really desired. If we

really love the illusion, the idea that we want out of it is absurd.

Absotively. The idea of destroying ego is an odd one. If ego is believed to

be ones identity, then it is just a battle with oneself. If ego is known to be

illusory thoughts, why would a battle be necessary? It amounts to a battle

to bypass experiential illusion, which is a battle with What Is. God's gonna

win that battle.

what is in battle with " whatever " is the effect of

attachments.....based on world and mind......based on time and space

this battle go on....as long there are this attachments existing

the battle can end....even during lifetime.....

thats the moment in which deep inner peace.....and thoughtless

being......enter into....breathe of life

So, there is no real need for a " battle " ....except on the seek....to

oneSelf

It's really odd. Mostly folks' concepts about the meaninglessness of

concepts, followed by a thoughtful discussion of the absence of thought. A lot

of

running in circles going nowhere. The kinda thing that makes ya go hmmmm.....

L.E: No, no. Like the skin of a lobster before it becomes hard like a shell,

it is kept alive by the lobster, and by the human organism. It depends on

cells, nerves, chemicals and electricity. When all that dies, the ego dies.

And sometimes before..

Hmmm. Let us imagine that your life is recorded on a DVD disc.

Pop it into a player and watch your ego run from beginning to end.

Now take the disc and smash it into smitherines.

Oh, look at that! Your ego is flying away into Heaven. Wow man!

Hehe. Just kidding.

It's not going to Heaven.

It's going to Hell in a hand basket.

And you're carrying it.

Again, just kidding.

What happens to the ego at the body's death?

What happens to the body at the ego's death?

Do these questions stimulate you?

I find them boring.

:(
