Guest guest
If you read Ramesh balsekar books one will get confused what he is talking about and may be stranded. Ramesh balsekar books can be read only as a story and not as a spiritual path. I am that is a excellent work..Even in that book, I found that Maharaj on one occassion says that CONSIOUSNESS IS DORMANT on another Occasion he says that CONSIOUSNESS ACTS THROUGH YOUR BODY.. May be the interpretor for Maharaj might have understood wrong. If you are destined to read Ramesh Balsekar books you will be compelled to read.. Take good care of yourself and others. Balsekar is not a significant proponent of Nisargadatta because Balsekar has a very limited understanding of Nisargadatta. Nisargadatta speaks differently of things such as " I am " and " consciousness " at different places, depending upon context. The " elementry teachings " speak of " I am " and " consciousness " as the *highest*. The " advanced teachings " say just the opposite. So do not expect Nisargadatta to always be speaking from the " same page " . He also speaks differently depending on the context of to whom he is speaking. Keep in mind that most of the words of Nisargadatta that are available are as captured from live discussions with specific individuals and small groups and were intended for a correspondingly limited audience. As for Balsekar, his understanding does not go past Nisargadatta's elementary teachings, from what I have seen of his remarks. If anyone has reference to material of his that goes beyond that I would be interested.
