I looked into my dictionary: Loquacious = talkative.

 

What's going on in talkative persons ? The fear to be alone, or do

they have lots of strong emotions and the need to neutralize these

emotions by endlessly talking ?

I'd say there are various reasons. To reinforce beliefs, spiritual ego, to

play teacher, to explore ideas, to negate, to impress, to create drama,

entertainment. (I'm sure I could come up with a few more if necessary.)

I'm still trying to pronounce it properly but I did notice that it

rhymes nicely with percolation.
