Re: it's a seinfeld board... aboard about nothing..,

Suggestion: stop hemmin' and hawin', pokin' around

the edges with tentative dartings of this and that...

which is to say to rather come out speaking clearly

something of your own... then the mystery of what

this list is about will be very clear.

This *is* afterall a nondual list. So what it is

about doesn't boil down to a " purpose " .

It is, rather, more of a " zen thing " .

Bill

C'mon, Bill. There is no " Zen thing " going on here. Ego seeks here. This is

a purpose. There's nothing wrong with that, but lets not pretend ego

mysteriously disappeared just because the focus is nonduality. It's becoming

clear

that the actual purpose is clearly unclear. Don't you think that's odd?

Yes Phil....better to talk about your best friend " God " ....about the

misery that poor spiritual hearts are percieving around....

and therfore writing some explanation and books to this poor world....

so that " they " get some clearness.....and so on...

is this the world (dream) your are in?

there is nothing " Zen " about it....indeed

from my view, all is a zen thing...

and purpose is not a meaningful notion.

your view is evidently different.

what you say about " ego " doesn't relate either.

it is funny how if what I say doesn't compute

for a person, sometimes that person will conclude

that surely I am bullshiting. of course it would

not occur to the person that what is being said

is something that actually challenges their way

of looking at things.

an ego don't get satisfaction until it discover that there is nothing

but Self

then....there is neither satisfaction nor unsatisfaction.....

there is nobody anymore " who " could feel such emotions

emotions, desires, wishes, ....and many kind of attachments don't let

the Self appear as what it Is...

means, as a deep and peacefully nature......whenever and wherever,

always present......here and now

again

Well, here's what I think about that:

It is funny how if what I say doesn't compute

It's okay, Bill, almost nobody ever learns from the words of others. Our own

words are all that matter.

Yes, we only learn through observation, also the observation of the

reaction to other people´s words can be interesting. So what is being

said is in fact far les important then what is being " done " with these

words by the listener. If one is attentive, one learns even from most

stupid things. If one isn´t attentive, no wisdom will help him.

Len

Agreed. We can recognize that we're the creators of our

experience/perceptions, and always reflect on what we create in the form of the

words/reactions

of others. For me, I learn the most when someone's words cause me to question.

I then look within for the answer. Ultimately, it has nothing to do with

anyone else.

I do, however, get a little crazy at the deception and pretenses, and I seem

to have to voice my perspective on it once in a while. Although it changes

nothing outside of me, it feels like a breath of fresh air within. My apologies

to anyone I offend when I do this. No offense intended.

Ok....one more time......there is no 'we' separate from reactions that occur

naturally within

the psychosoma.

" We " do not learn...:We " are the conceptual residue that forms in the wake of

thought.

also the observation of the

So can watching monkeys in the zoo.

So what is being

Neither are important.

If one is attentive, one learns even from most

There is no entity to learn....It is the 'learning " .

If we do that ....we are mistaken.

and always reflect on what we create in the form of the words/reactions

question.

Somehow.............as 'the words of 'others' pass through your ears...they

magically become

'your words'........which are then are cross referenced with 'your' mnemonic

debris.

Any 'questions' that you can come up with will be cross referenced to an entity

that doesn't

exist.

Ultimately it has nothing to do with 'you'.

'You don't have a perspective......you are a perspective.

Although it changes
