Lemme suggest that nothing at all happens to maya. The self is what seems to

'move' toward Truth. Maya remains maya. Those who are trying to make it

disappear will, of course, fail. Acceptance is not the negation of illusion, but

the realization that you ARE the illusion, and that nothing ever needed to be

removed from what you are. You were never less than you imagine yourself to

be. You are infinitely more than you could ever imagine. Wholeness is not

embraced by burying the illusory parts of that wholeness. By saying 'no' to the

smallest parts, you say 'no' to wholeness; to God.

Apparently Maya is not an uncommon name in the Latin

world. My daughter-in-law is from Honduras, and she

has a niece that is named Maya.
