Guest guest
>> Does ego disappear after realization? Ego is merely a function/facility of the Self and thus, the ego doesn't [or and shouldn't] disappear after realization! Ego is how the Self takes 'form'! Ego is how Self interacts and relates in the word of " things " ! Only the way " how " this ego arises and how it acts changes! Before realization, ego is like unattended chaotic fire... after realization, ego " truly " becomes the Fire of Consciousness! The Consciousness carefully lights it up when necessary and that the Consciousness carefully guides it through its burning life! After its job is done, Consciousness makes sure to put it out and merge it in its Heart!

'Things' only exist in the pseudo overlay that the identified entity creates conceptually. The 'Self' is merely another conceptual overlay invented by the illusory entity in an attempt to explain its assumed orogin. > > Only the way " how " this ego arises and > how it acts changes! There is no mysterious mis-identification going on, it is simply the development of a personal identity that each living entity needs in order to sustain a 'body'! > > > > > > Ego is how Self interacts and relates > > in the word of " things " ! > > > > 'Things' only exist in the pseudo overlay that > the identified entity creates conceptually. Things are Far More Real than the pseudo " spiritual " thoughts that might be going on in your or my head. > The 'Self' is merely another conceptual overlay > invented by the illusory entity in an attempt > to explain its assumed orogin. No like the *nature* that knows that both day and night, darkness and light and sun and shadow has their place! Like the nature that includes both sun and shadow!
