OK. First answer would usually be:

Because I often cannot get what I want.

What´s next?

Len

Next question is: What if you didn't want anything? Would you be happy then?

Through ages... as well as today... many

have stumbled upon a SPACE where all

problems, all miseries, all sadness,

all suffering have seemed to have

disappeared!

They have tried to *capture* it, they

have tried to make a 'recipe' out of it,

they have tried to make it into a formula,

an equation, they have tried to make it

into a reliably replicable theory so

that it can be distributed and replicated!

That has given rise to the terms like

*enlightenment* and that has given rise

to the most of " spirituality " !

Yet, formulating it is not easy.

Sometimes, the very effort of

intellectualizing and formulating it...

gives rise to the 'misery' that was

never there! Analyzing this *happiness*

is quite arduous and requires

simultaneous multi-dimensional thinking

and doing this take some energy away

from the abiding happiness!

....

Yet, analyzing it, formulating it is

indeed Very Important! Because, this is

what make it really 'transferable' and

reproducible. Analyzing and formulating

it is what makes it 'scientific'!

....

Spiritual investigation is about understanding

the causes of 'misery'!

Spiritual teaching is about explaining the

causes, method, condition and way of

uncaused eternal Happiness!

This is a summary that works for me :

Fully enjoy the moment. I mean FULLY..

Give it all to the moment..and there is no where else

to go.

Any attempt to 'fully enjoy the moment' will fail.

(all attempts to change an illusory condition fail).....

How does one know for sure if they are fully enjoying anything?

..............................................

there is no how in the moment, my dearest.

And there can be no attempt either, it only takes

diving.

Divine diving to you of you dare!

I'm having a little trouble with this.

The moment...the enjoyer and the enjoyed...........are one.

It cannot be more then it is.

Hypothetical question cannot be answered unless through imagination.

Next question:

Is it possible not to get what I want and still be happy?

How do I do that?

perhaps one must define happiness...

how does it feel?

the question...

the answer...

the image imagining beyond the eye-I

the infinite wonder of Being...

falling into Cosmic Bliss

of This Is..

wholely holy
