A man troubled with the miseries and problems of life approached a

famous master. The master told him that his problems originated from

having a sense of me. Sense of me was the root of all his problems.

And, he should remove this sense of me in order to remove his

problems.

 

no self = no problem

 

 

This was a radical idea and the man liked it a lot!

 

 

The man returned to his village, continued his studies and became a

doctor! His first patient approached him complaining of a backache.

The doctor remembered the wisdom of his master immediately and

suggested:

 

Your backache has its origin in your back! Your back is the *root*

of all your backache and once your back is gone there will be no

more backache.

 

Sit here, spread your legs, keep your eyes straight... and let me

remove your back. Back gone and so will your backache... gone

forever!
