Mind arises from the activity of brain and nervous system and tries to help the organism survive and get what it needs and wants. Part of the mind uses self talking. That is the only part of mind that is obvious. Dreams are non of our business but are probably a side-business of mind. The self-talking part of mind goes on and off. Self-talking is not constant and is a little distraction from observation or as Len says, seeing. In a way, everything that happens is unique and really interesting in its beauty and variety and can be seen, experienced and enjoyed anytime there is not too much pain. Your view is very verbal and theoretical and doesn't originate in simple experience. Is that clear enough Phil?. Larry Epston
