What a wonderful weekend I just had! My kids and I went to the annual

Celtic Fair on Saturday. The music was delightful to listen to and

the dancers were quite entertaining.

After the Fair, my girlfriend and I took the kids to the movie theatre

to see 'Chronicles of Narnia.' C.S. Lewis. What a genius!

Before the kids went back to their mother's place, I got them all

together for a little musical jam fest. My four year-old shook her

shakers; my seven year-old clapped some wooden spoons together; my

nine year-old shook a tambourine; my girlfriend also shook a

tambourine; and I played me Jaw Harp and banged me foot on the floor

to keep a rythm a goin'.

Later on, after the kids went home, my girlfriend and I cranked up the

music. While listening to the sounds of Voodoo drumming by a group

called, 'The Dragon Ritual Drummers', we painted each our own picture

on 5 x 8 canvas'. Mine came out looking pretty tribalistic.

I hope you all had a great weekend, too!

*There's nothing like kids and girlfriends to keep one grounded in the

Heart.

Got lost in a rain-hail storm with 25 indifferent

steers and an unhappy horse on a 6000 acres melting

ranch! Very grounding.

You`d have like that Silver.

Snizzing and cold!

Yes, I was too specific, referring to my own experience. My

girlfriend and kids keep me grounded. Without them, I have a

tendency to get locked up inside my head. I struggle with finding a

balance between head and heart.

There's no balance needed unless one believes there's a contradiction

between what one thinks, and why.
