>>Are not all desires driven by pain

and pleasures? When the drive to avoid

pain and seek pleasure ceases in one's

life what then, drive its actions?

Pain and pleasure are one kind of

motivators! This is the world flowing

in, this is the world driving you and

telling you what to do and as long as

you keep looking out to the world -

this is the only way you have known!

But, as you soon as your attention

turn fully within and you realize your

inner bliss nature, you realize another

flow...

And, this is the flow of love...

Flow of Creation...

This is the flow that has made many

truly beautiful things possible!

Another difference is that in pain and

pleasure your focus is on the results

and future! In avoiding pain, you often

have added dimension of past too.

But, in love, in enjoyment your focus

is fully on Now!

In this mode, even though your

creation can create great things - your

involvement in action is total as you

find you immensely fulfilling and

joyous by itself - just like making

love..., or, for a artist drawing a

picture, playing violin, writing a

poetry, a dad playing with child or a

child playing with sand! The act itself

is the Reward and any result is just an

added bonus!

To some extent, this enjoyment of

action remains present in all great

work including solving complex

equations, great scientific discovery

or a great break-thru or Invention! The

energy changes its dimensions, the

focus shifts to the action and the

attention gets fully absorbed in the

present!

Joy, love, compassion is you flowing out...

Pleasure and pain is the world flowing in!

Experience and Enjoyment is you and

the world meeting in the middle!

As soon as you get 'self-centered', as

soon as you realize your inner essence

and begin your abidance in it, the

foolishness of 'seeking happiness'

becomes apparent to you! It is like an

ocean seeking for water! But, as long

as its attention is totally turned

outward it doesn't realize what element

its Very Existence is made of! That

element itself is Ananda - the bliss

beyond pain and pleasure!

Action for happiness becomes pointless

and you will also see that there is no

way [and no need] to totally avoid

[physical] pain and pleasure! The

physical pain [and pleasure] is how the

body talks to you! This is how it seeks

your attention! This is boy's

connection to you and as long as there

is body this too will remain!

But, now its reality, its use and its

value is seen!

All bodies are subject to decay...

Decay is the way of New Fresh Creation!

[Physical] pain is merely the signal

demanding attention...

It is merely a messenger...

You don't get angry on someone for

informing you that your child is in

trouble and needs your help. So, why

would you find complain again physical

pain!

Mental pain remains only as long as

you are driven by the word... it is the

world sending you signals... and, it

only remains as long as you are driven

by the world stimulus of pain and

pleasure!

The moment you assume the driver seat

and love, enjoyment, experience and

compassion become the driving powers

the mental pain ceases!
