Guest guest
The relationship between Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd was much more complex then most people ever knew. Charlie was the first born but always seemed to accommodate Mortimer's obvious disabilities but could no help be a bit embarrassed by them. Charlie would have the audience in his little hands....and then Mortimer would say something really stupid and everyone would go crazy laughing. Edgar seems to go along with this inequity........and over the years Charlie seemed to slip into an ever deepening depression. An then, to top it all off, that real little girl Candice was born. But...........I could go on and on........ I have written a whole book about this complex relationship.....If anyone is interested. toombaru
