I mean seriously how can one call oneself spiritual and condone

the torture and murder of innocent animals..it shows both a lack of

awareness and selfish egoistic desire...Tony.

L.E: It's best not to spend much time calling yourself anything. Human's as

hunters have been eating animals for hundreds of thousands of years just as

many other animals eat the flesh of each other.

Who is the better person, the one who eats meat and does good deeds and acts

of kindness, or the self-centered egotistical mean-spirited vegetarian?

There is a large picture to see here. But overall, I agree with Tony that it

is part of a kinder and more loving life not to eat animals, fish, seafood,

shrimp, oysters, milk and eggs. But still, I think living a kind and loving

life is more important than what you eat although it is a matter of degree and I

think a change of consciousness or self-awareness or inner transformation

will be reflected organically and naturally in a change of diet without much

effort. Be kind and gentle with you as well as others, for in fact, there are

no

others.

They are both insensitive.

Eating animals is necessary, if there is no other choice. But most

of us do have a choice.

You cannot be loving when you´re insensitive for other creatures.
