L.E: Ten for Dinner

Some didn't come down.

We don't all come down.

We don't all rise up.

Some just die young and poof, they're gone forever.

There's room for tears amist the laughter.

Living and dying.

It's all over

Before you know it,

Hello, goodbye

Leave a baby or two

And again,

Hello, goodbye,

Baby's grown up and died

And now,

All gone,

Nothing left,

Silentce

Empty Space,

Just as it began

So long ago.

Just now.

quite a few years ago, a friend and I watched a PBS special on the

day long-battle of one new born life, the family, doctors, nurses and

camera crew, documented this day, this one perfect day of life in one

little boy who brought together all these heads and hearts, privy

to one day in the life of one little boy who lived a lifetime in 24

hours, and left so much meaning which if it is nothing else, it

is/was Love, in compassion and the passion of life to survive any

which way it can, if only in one beating heart in I, the witness.

Love knows no 'other'
