This doesn´t mean that there isn´t a pre-condition to a human being who´s born. We simply don´t know. xxx L.E: Well, I think the inner state of " I don't know, " is to be respected and welcomed. " I don't know " keeps a person suspended in the present, the only real state of being. What needs to be changed? There may be a karmic pre-condition, but it's not obvious so I'm not concerned about it, and think, take the position, have the opinion of, karma isn't real. You make your own choice. I'm not trying to convince you of anything. > p.s. I come from a mostly Macrobiotic background. L.E: No. I often eat raw foods like nuts and seeds and vegetables or fruits, but I take no position on diet. I keep my freedom to do what I want, and usually, I eat vegetarian meals, but no always. And I don't look down on others who eat differently. I'm concerned with what the person does, then what they eat, but still, there are eithical positions and health to consider. > > >>Len: > >>PS: One of my girlfriends was a fan of Macrobiotics. > >>I could only stand it for 3 weeks ;-) > >>Do you have a partner? > > > >L.E: My best lady friend is a food disciplinarian with a very pure > strict diet mostly. With lots of vitamins and food suppliments. I've known her for many years now. As far as " dumping " people, that sounds rather callous and dumping is always a stinky business. Just hang out at a vegetarian restraunt, and find another friend. Someday maybe you'll find the right combination, or maybe not. And maybe its important to keep some opinions about a friend to yourself. Everything doesn't have to be said. People hurt people all the time. Try not to do that. Larry Epston
