The Space Program..Expensive and bringing us?

There are those who feel that the expense of the Space Program is not

justified...that it has nothing to offer us. Without that specific

program and research, we would not now have the material substances

available that allow for the ability to transmit information as readily

(eg. fiber optics) nor, to build computers with the storage capacity

and ability to make possible talking in groups over cyberSpace.

Considering the quality of some of that communication..they may be

correct.

Aside from that little tidbit..if there is ANY queation as to the

benifits(material or otherwise) of that Program of the Final Frontier,

I can only believe that they who issue such proclamations are either

extremely reclused or deluded.
