L.E: Your comment is just brain fantasy which is graceful and makes a point.

But you are mistaken.

The perfect student is unhappy, discontent and searching for help.

The perfect student may be aggresive and challenging, hostile and irritated

The perfect student is noisy, demanding and arrogant.

The perfect teacher is able to handle all of this with skill and ease.

The perfect student is sufficiently willing to learn that no other teacher

is needed.

L.E: That's an innovative way to put it. Maybe-funny!

I meant that one is one's own teacher; both teacher and student.

A good teacher is someone who isn't needed and a good student is

someone who isn't needy. Thus, teacher and student become One.

Life is the teacher.

In the end teacher and student become one.

This is good Silver. But then, whether teacher or student or master

or slave; whether rich or poor, good or bad, enlightened or deluded;

whether this or that or OM TAT SAT...Who ar What is GOOD? There was a

fairly sharp guy walking the hills of Galilee a short while back,

geologically speaking, who posed this question with unresponsive

result. But to be a paraphrasing pharisee for now, I'll say your post

is good. : - )

Good question. You ask, " Who or What is GOOD? " It's a question of

personal ethics. Acting ethically in any situation is Good; acting

unethically is Bad. What are good and what are bad ethics? In my

view, doing anything that leads to the harm of oneself or others or

to the planet is bad ethics; doing anything which is harmless or

least harmful to oneself and others and to the planet is good

ethics. We really need to think about the potential consequences of

our every action before we act. Each one of us lives in different

situations so our actions have relative effects. Relative to the

situation we're in. We have the ability to use our intelligence to

determine the outcome of our actions. Acting in the least harmful

way is always the wisest course to follow. Loving-kindness and

compassion ought to be considered carefully before we do anything.

For this, we need no teacher to show us the way. We are our own

best guide as to what to do. It doesn't matter Who we are. We have

an inner teacher to show us the way of righteousness (for lack of a

better word.)
