Guest guest
Just stumbled over an old message where Bob wrote: > Your thoughts always give pause and that is a good thing I hadn't really caught that the first time. I'm the same way. I love it when a message gives me pause... when it pushes me a bit. To me, when that happens, then someone has *really said something*. And I try to be mindful that if a message *doesn't* push me a bit, it *could* be because I wasn't open enough, that I just skimmed over the top. Like the way I missed the comment above the first time. So in this case, the comment above has " given me pause " . That means, really, *savoring* it, sensing its deeper ramifications, its levels of meaning. And such statements don't particularly arise from " brilliance " , but really more from a heartful honesty. Words spoken with a heartful honesty have a kind of " ooomph! " Words without such seem, somehow, to be *mere words*. Bill
