Guest guest
The secret Qtub had been sitting for eons lost in the Divine when of a sudden, from across the deserted plain suddenly a stranger approached. This was not just some ordinary traveller but one who was considered wise and in touch with Powers beyond ordinary men by all who had heard of his astuteness and profundity. It was even rumoured that this most exotic man among men, could effect miracles and with one soft gaze induce Bliss and Realization in those he favoured. When he deigned to speak, multitudes would flock to hear his message. To touch his garment was considered holy and magical and a Gift of God, a Divine Grace. He was well known throughout the land of men and his grandeloquence and poetic pronouncements were held in great esteem. He had heard ancient legends of the Qtub, and after many years of furtive searching, he had fortuitously been directed to the location of the hidden Master by an Agent of Fortune. Being a Righteous and Jealous would-be Avatar, he decided to test the Truth of the legends regarding the Perfection of the Divine Qtub and began toying with him in conversational tones: " I hear that The Understanding, The Source of All Things and Aspects, is not often realized these days, is it your opinion ancient one that this is so, and of what Nature is this Most Worthy Condition that all men secretly, even unto themselves, look to be instated into; and further old man, is there advantage or disadvantage to the beggining and ending of this Glorious Quest? " . This was of course an opening query that was to expose the lesser understanding of the Qtub ,an understanding that he felt must be far inferior to his own more cosmopolitan and sophisticated and documented discernment. " OK answered the Qtub, " that could be an interesting topic, but let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same grass yet the deer excretes little pellets, while the cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is? " " Well " !!!, said the stranger. " I have no idea. " ! " Well then, " said the impish and wanting to be left alone Qtub, " How is it that you feel qualified to discuss Truth and Understanding when you don't know shit?
