Millions mammals [humans] around globe sit in the living watching a tiger hunt a deer or a lizard hunt a fly... that perhaps, tells us that our sense of Curiosity and Entertainment is perhaps, much stronger than our sense of *empathy*!!!! And, the fact that billions around globe cook, serve and eat fish, chicken and other animals and share their 'recipe' tells us that... this *empathy* is pretty much non- existent* when it comes to our *food*!!!! --- *After all, humans do [intellectually] understands that it hurts to be 'butchered', 'cut' and 'killed'!
