No.

 

Not unless... you expand the definition

of 'PET' to include 'home

fed' and 'home kept' [and even played with]

chicken, pigeon, pig, duck, rabbit, fish and lamb!

Yes, it´s all about one´s needs.

When I feel like playing, I use you to play.

When I feel like eating, I use you to eat.

Many inter-human relationship aren´t any different.
