What you call the behavior of the Known corresponds nicely to what his Don Juan called the Tonal, and the invisible dancer to what Don Juan called the Nagual. Or to what Wei Wu Wei would call Phenomena and Noumenon, respectively. We have talked about this distinction before. In the end they are indistinct. What Is covers it. No need to separate out. At some point words end. As if there were a sign on the road that said, " No words beyond this point! " We use words (you and I) because we can't help but wanting to shed a bit of light, to perhaps catalyze something, because somehow it seems just wrong to be so blessed and not to. So we use words. Very hard to use words all the while saying it is not about words! Nevertheless, it is so very true. Bill
