He sets his gaze into the

Glassy sky

Looking through red

Bloodshot eyes

And he cries

The medication in the

Handglass

Champaigns through the water

He hopes It'll take his

Pain away

But it's too late

To Rectify Yesterday

Hmmm mmmm

The protective bubble of

His youth

She broke it with a

Deadly pin she called

The truth

And now a dead crucifix

He grips In his hands

As he akes a supplication

To a god he'll never

Understand

But it's too late

To rectify Yesterday

Hmmm mmmm

Memories pass of her

Sitting so mild

With her hands neatly folded

On her stomach just like

A child

Yawning thoughts of the

Things she taught

Of the way she caught

every part of him when

She'd talk

But it's too late

To Rectify Yesterday

Hmmm mmmm
