Guest guest
I assume we agree that what is nondual is necessarily in the Now, in the present, in the moment. Further, if there is time involved then it is not in the moment. This is clear because the moment does not allow for duration. Are you still with me? So here we are " in the moment " . Now, we can say that in the moment what presents is a Field of Sensation. Let me be clear by what I mean by that. I do not mean (necessarily) any *particular* sensations (plural). I just mean that visual, auditory, kinesthetic sense data are impinging upon consciousness. Now for those of you who are still with me, I expect for the most part there will be agreement on this last point as well. When it gets to what the Field of Sensation *constitutes* we may begin to diverge. So now for those of you who are still with me: The critical question is whether the Field of Sensation has *parts*. Is it divided, or is it undivided? Another way to put this question is: are there any *distinctions* within the Field of Sensation? Since we are looking at these questions from the standpoint of the moment, of Now, perhaps there could be different answers to those questions, that is different answers at different moments. But notice that the answers to those questions *cannot be theoretical* and be valid. It is similar to an introspection question in that in any given moment one can say yes, no, neither to whether the Field of Sensation is divided or undivided.
