BULLIES AND SHARKS

L.E: In ordinary life, in schools all over, there are young people who are

bullies and sharks. They seek out someone they think is weak, or look for those

that have some odd or unique characteristc and start to pick on them. These are

the bullies. Sometimes they find their victim and sometimes they create their

victim. And as they harass and harry, snip and stike, tearing bits of emotional

flesh from their victims they laugh and yelp and are having a great old time.

And as they attack, the sharks gather. The sharks are not bullies, they don't

have the aggresiveness of the bullies, but they are attracted to the wounded

victim and come in to get their bite of flesh and torment the chosen victim.

These bullies and sharks do not simply disappear when they graduate school, they

become adults and have the same visciousness as adults as they had as children,

and they still seek out victims.

Some of these creepy crawling degenerates have found their way onto this list,

this group and are playing the same games they did as children.

The most disgusting part is the adult self-justification that they use to cusion

and hide and excuse their actions. The man or woman who beats their child to

death says, " I was just trying to teach him to be a man, " or, " I was just trying

to show him how hard life can be, " and on and on. Endless excuses for pure

enjoyment of cruelty And here, there are those same excuses, the same feeble

justifications. We read " people have to expect that on group lists, " or " I was

just trying to teach him something, " or many other excuses for visciousness,

sarcasm and mockery. Perhaps that is why Jesus was torn apart by crucifiction.

So many people couldn't stand his goodness, kindness and well-meaning teaching.

They were jealous, and envious of his knowlege and hated his apparent

" superiority. " So they mocked him and hung him until he was gone from their

mist and they could relax again into their mediocrity.

If you have eyes, see. If you have ears, hear.

I essentially agree with the process you've described, and can even see it

occurring here to some degree, but strangely, I see you as perhaps the

greatest 'offender'. Isn't that odd?

Not really. He's simply chosen to project outside of himself, everything he

fails to accept within.

Lets see, does that make you the bully and me the shark, silver....or visey

versey?

Perhaps Larry really believes his knowledge (so-called) is the envy

of this group? Does he really think he can lift us out of our

apparent mediocrity with his words of so-called infinite wisdom? Do

we mock his blatant arrogance only because we are jealous of his so-

called superiority? Or do we simply barf on his platter of bullshit

because we cannot stomach it anymore? Yes, the latter. The latter,

indeed. Go yuk yourself, Mr. Epston.
