" Is it Niz is it Ramana is it Buddha is it Lao Tsu is it Jesus is It

Muhammed? Whose lineage are you in or following. Who among them can

you most relate to? Where did your knowledge originate from? What is

the line of descent, the pedigree, the root and origin of your

system? " ...The questions of the young seeker were crackling..they

came and they went. And the old man just sat there and listened to

the boy go on and on with his persistent enquiries. Early on in the

meeting the old boy had given the younger man an apple to eat while

they were to discuss these matters of great moment and concern.

Nearing the end of the first hour, the aged man, seeing the young

seeker had finished his first apple, offered him another, and in

expression of his many sided hunger, the young man grabbed it and

started munching away. And they were delicious tasting apples.

Finally when the youngster had exhausted himself with his cacophony

of questions, the wiser old fellow asked him if he had enjoyed the

apples. The young seeker admitted as to the fact that he had indeed

enjoyed the fruit. The old man then asked him if he wanted to know

where those apples had been cultivated and grown. Having far more

important questions in his mind, the young man said " No..why? " , And

the wise old man said, " Well, that is your answer about my system. "
