I complained to the master about the

emptiness that I frequently landed in

and that I didn't find emptiness a

comfortable place!

The master replied: this is because

emptiness is not a place!

And, you are still looking Out! First

you were looking at *things*. Now, you

are looking at the *Absence of things*!

The key is to look for that which SEES!

The Seer is neither empty nor full!

Emptiness is as much a perception as

is looking at *things*! Both are unreal

and both are transitory...

See the SEER... which means abide as

the SEER without paying much attention

to what is seen... be it emptiness or

be it *things*!

The first stage is too look at and worship many different things:

money, fame, great big homes, jewels, beauty. However concrete or

however abstract. Those 'things' can become gods. The second stage is

to go beyond these things and worship emptiness and void, god and

godhead, lasting and ephemeral. The last stage is to not worship

things OR God. When knocking at the door of the Beloved and asked who

it is that's there.. " it is Thou.none other. "
