Faves in Teachers and Teachings

People have their favourites, in songs and such. They have favourite

teachings and teachers too. You could almost say that those seekers are

prejudiced about the matter and their master who instructs them on

those matters. This is just a symptom of a deeper state of affairs.

They assume things about the teacher and the instruction.. and that

little assumption of theirs is the real parent of that prejudice. The

wanderers on the path are just the victims of their very own

prejudice..the symptom, as I've said, of their underlying disease. But

this of course assumes that they have a choice in the matter and a will

to even make that choice. Who knows eh?
