Hi Patricia,

i read something about U.G.

let me know about it...

well, you are not supposed to like what he says, or

his face,mm?!?

:)

And why not??

What emanates from this face makes me quizzy.

P

I love that face. It's unyielding, and his eyes leave you with nowhere to

hide. His eyes say, 'You might as well give up, the Truth is going to win sooner

or later'.

BTW, haven't read any more of him than what has been posted here and a book

I read 30 years ago and remember nothing about, but I know that face.

And the idea that those feelings aren´t one´s own

is even more powerful ;-)

I seriously question the path of calling anything not the Self in the hopes

of recognizing everything as the Self. There's value in recognizing the

illusion of false identity, but this illusion is not other than the Self, it

arises

from the Self, and is contained within the Self.

This is the movement of separation in " me " and " not me " , the usual

ego movement, disguised as spirituality.

And after the illusion has been recognized as illusion there is no

need to call it anything at all, because it´s gone. One cannot cut

anything off through definitions, things either are there or not.

~~~~~~~
Yes
recognition alone will suffice...
calling anything anything is not what matters
if anything is ego it is that which " calls things " this n' that
so it is not *identifying* anything *as* anything
that matters
but the very function of " calling " ...
that is well called into question.
You're not the mind-reader you think!
No I don't wish.
I don't care.
I care not about anyone's opinion,
not yours, not that of anyone of this
list, not even my own.
So why do you persist in wanting to
share yours?
If it is not for your own satisfaction,
that it is certainly pointless, yes?
Or do you actually believe you are talking
to someone *else*?
Bill
...........Says the ego who pretends to not believe he's talking to someone
else.............
