Guest guest
I haven't read much of UG and haven't been too impressed by what I have read of him. I have found him to use very negative, provocative and even abusive and insulting language. Maybe, he uses it to draw attention! ~~~~~~~ I haven't read much of UG either. But in what I have read he is consistently being a " deflater " ... he's not about building up, but about knocking down. So not, in my opinion, about drawing attention, but about knocking down, deflating, zeroing out whatever hoopla. For example, comparing the wine and bread of the Christian communion to the eating the flesh and drinking the blood of a fallen enemy by savages. Quite a deflation! If you read him and his words don't touch you, then you don't need him. If you read him and his words bug you, then perhaps you do! A question to ask in this regard is: What is sacred? It is an interesting question to ask. And so you might ask yourself: What is sacred? Because, you see, if something *is* regarded as sacred... then that necessarily is at expense of something else. Whereas, on the other hand, if *all* is seen as sacred... how could there be such pious pointing at this n' that? Bill
