Guest guest
Distracted by iridescent bubbles, I was lost in the chase. I barked at shadows, I snarled, and I jumped snapping at the moon. What a mad dog I was! But now, I rest in obscurity, I sink in my Thusness, my Suchness, my undiluted, pristine Dogness, just like a good dead dog should. And a dead dog and a dead human both start to stink if they lay in the sun a few days. Maybe someone will kick you and you will wake up again. But I like the poem even though I don't welcome the dead dog in my backyard
