L.E: One dog is dead, gone.

His mouth barked obscenities,

Almost human at times

Some loved his snarling temper,

His angry violence,

And wanted to see blood

Warm and red

Fill the room.

They laughed and clapped

As he charged into the enemy

Ripping and shredding.

Just as he was half human,

These cheering spectators

Are half viscious dog

Pretending to seek

Beyond themselves

For the big picture

They showed behind

Their smiles and vacant eyes

The taste for death.

Defeat the enemy they cheered,

He knows our secrets,

He looks beyond he surface

He is not part of our betrayal

Of truth.

To his death, oh monster dog

Rip him to pieces

And we will eat the pieces

In our dreams

Where we try to hide

Our nasty visions.

And when he is gone,

Shredded and torn,

We will dance around

Cheering at his defeat.

But wait, he has the dog

By its pulsating throat,

Eyes bulging, vile words,

Curses and threats

Of lawsuits and endless

Terror, his snarl grow weak,

And he lays now,

In his own blood, dead,

Still, banished from life,

And the enemy stands there

The head of the dog in his hand,

And the room is still

The cheering crowd

Has creeped away

Hiding in shame

For the part they played

In wounding and violating

This champion.
