we were just talking about not expecting to be understood...

but could be a nice surprise...

that could be you and Marc here...

I was talking to a friend about writing on this list

and not caring if was understood or not...

She called that, " Being alone " ...

And she described herself as learning to " be alone "

in the midst of " others " ...

In the exchange above I can see Marc and you both

being alone within an apparent exchange...

I was just kidding, because of all this imagery about what happens

to " realized people " .

But being alone is a condition to intelligence.

If you cannot stand being alone, you will buy any concept to avoid

alonness. Very few people can bear alonness, in the meaning of not

only not having an alliance, but also being free of all concepts.

Very good!!!

Yes!

Carrying around concepts (which includes alliances, actually)

being like a companion teddy bear.

Lots of different security blankets.

A boundary between inner/outer is another one.

Bill

your words sound like coming...indeed.....from someone " being

alone " .....

maybe the ones who write most in here.....are mostly this your

described " being alone " ....

there is, in reality, Nothing to exchange in awareness of Self

there is a desert.....and some are attracted to this desert.....

they travel in there.....

some are lost so there......and see " fata morganas " .....running

around like fools......exchanging words and " views " with " non-

existing others " .....

this " desert " represent the world....

the world represent a nice dream....:)

how can there be someone lost.....in awareness of the dream?

so....most of nice developments....of nice theories and concepts.....

of nice self-made " realities " .......

are just the result of the described " fata morganas " described above

it is non-sense to develop concepts ....in exchange with (non-

existing) " others " .....in " how " to reach or to share the appearing

source of water (fata morgana).......

which only appear because of a restless mind

greetings to/from/by/behind/over the world....:)

I enjoyed you post (or my hallucination of your post:) Marc.

And also enjoy the new term you introduced to me: fata morgana

On Wikipedia it says that the term is " ...named after Morgan le Fay,

the faery shapeshifting half-sister of King Arthur "

So even the term you use for evocative apparitions is itself

evocative.
