Belated response to Love not adjusting

It occurred to me a few days ago that perhaps a useful way of conveying

J. Krishnamurti's statement about " love not adjusting " is by seeing that

" light " doesn't adjust to what it shines on! It doesn't (as far as I can

tell) doesn't say " I like that object so I think I'll shine a bit more

brightly and intensely on it. And since I don't cotton to that object

over there, I think I'll dim my shining down a bit " :-) It seems to me

that light simply and only shines equally because it *is* the very

shining itself. Love simply and only loves because it *is* the very

loving itself whether there's a so-called " object " present or not to be

register the loving or shining.
