If my amatuer understanding is correct, the word " surrender " , when

broken down, is: " su " means " self " , and " render " means to " turn over "

or " yield " . Therefore, " surrender " means to willingly (as opposed to

" willfully/intentionally for a reason) relinquish or turn over the self,

(i.e., let go).

There are people who look within other words to determine the true

meaning of the words themselves.

Can you see the problem here?

according to the online etymological dictionary

http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?search=surrender & searchmode=none

from sur- " over " + rendre " give back "

The " give back " is a nice fit to what Phil was saying...

as it can mean to return back to its natural place.

When there is no longer resistance then it returns back

to its natural place. Which is oneness (i.e. non-distinction).

Perhaps such things as " unlove, resentment, anger, condescenscion,

hatred, prejudice, indifference, smugness, malicious intent, etc. " Not

sure what you mean by " Is you® wife around? " Besides, I'm not

married!
