So maybe this Truth is just another illusion?

That´s my guess, cause I don´t see how an illusion can remain when

the perception undisturbed by illusions takes place.

I don´t see the need to call it anything. Better to see what is

thwarting perception, because as long as this disturbance is

operating, truth will be just another image. When the fact is there,

why talk about it, when it isn´t, talking about it will not make it

happen.

It is not your intent to be challenged........only to challenge. How do my

comments differ in tone from yours? There is no restless mind here, so where is

this restless mind you perceive?

So maybe this Truth is just another illusion?

That´s my guess, cause I don´t see how an illusion can remain when

the perception undisturbed by illusions takes place.

Well, but the 'enlightened' master's world remains.

I don´t see the need to call it anything. Better to see what is

thwarting perception, because as long as this disturbance is

operating, truth will be just another image. When the fact is there,

why talk about it, when it isn´t, talking about it will not make it

happen.

Well, going back to your original statement, the assumption is that

perception ends with the knowing that illusion is illusion. It's like saying

that

once it's realized that the mirage is not a pool of water, that the perception

of what looks like a pool of water vanishes, which of course isn't so.

The illusion is not a misperception, it's the 'act' of perception itself.

Perception is still going on within the consciousness that you are, it's just

that it is within you rather than you being within it.

Yes, my creation/perception of enlightened master's world. :)

It is very much so, to my perception.

If the imaginary nature of some thought-image is seen, it collapses,

because the only thing which gave it energy was the belief in its

reality.

If you were brainwashed to believe that violence is the best way to

deal with anger but you discover for yourself that it is not true,

then the thought of violence as a good solution for anger will not

occur anymore. And if it does, you can be sure, that it´s because

you´re somehow not completely free from this belief/illusion yet.

The belief is the only thing which gives illusions fuel.

I´m not talking about functional illusions, like a movie, for

instance. In this case you are fully aware that the movie is an

illusion, but chose to " believe " in it in order to enjoy the movie.

> The illusion is not a misperception, it's the 'act' of perception

itself.

It is a misperception, because an image created by thought is being

taken for a real thing.

Like when you speak of the world of an enlightened master.

This is not a fact, it´s a thought-construct, your imagination

created an idea of it, and if you don´t realize that it is just a

thought-content, you may start considering it as something real. The

more unrecognized thought-images are being taken for facts, the more

one is lost in his imaginary world. This imaginary world is a

product of thought, and depends entirely on ones conditioning: the

religious background, the books one have read, once desires etc...

Once you realize that the image you created has no real existence,

the need to perpetuate it ends.

Your creation/perception of an image of enlightened masters world.

Can you see the essential difference between this thought-image and

direct perception of whatever you see now?
