Wonders of the light that washes all contours...wonder of what I <remember>: ... my own insignificance in the face of what is... It is the scream of a victory that doesn`t belong to anyone.... Then I can relate completely to what you are saying... and as I see it, what you are describing is an experience that is so absolutely present that even the " gestalts " of the various " arisings " are dissolved... and experience is at a very primal level. Very few people seem to know of that degree of immediacy of experience. I have tried to talk about it on this list in the past. Seemed, at the time, not a lot of understanding though... It is very difficult to talk about. And also, there seems to be resistance to this kind of thing on the part of many. It seems that many do not like to hear talk about anything they have not experienced themselves. And some will try to shut such conversation down. But it needs to be opened up. C'mon get off that pedestal of poetic pomposity and get REAL for REAL! " And also, there seems to be resistance to this kind of > thing on the part of many. " Do I hear some Pol Pot who knows what's what for everyone here? It seems that many do not like to hear talk about > anything they have not experienced themselves. I love stories about space...I've never been there nor experienced it. If what you say here were true Bill, Hollywood would close it's doors and you'd never have a new season on television. And some will try to shut such conversation down. > If by disagreeing with you, someone is trying to shut the conversation down...I don't get it. Democracy thrives on disagreement and discussion. But then we were talking about Pol Pots weren't we. Bill, if a conversation is being cut off by someone, it's through ignoring the conversation(you know all about that one Bill), and not by furthering it's discourse through variance of opinion. > But it needs to be opened up. SURE DOES..............WIDE OPEN! ......bob
