Guest guest
I thought I was clever, I thought to answer my own unsolved riddle, the one I professed to ancient and forlorn stars hidden in golden daylight, I thought I was a brilliant prayer I confessed to myself in the shadows of the light as I prayed with the congregation I called to myself in the deep blue hours of my mourning, though I have learned to laugh at the loss of any and all my radiance, these flowers of myself, plucked from the earth before I could blossom, before the fragrance lifted me to another realm, full of insight, broken-stemmed bleeding from my hands and feet, where I nailed myself to the crooked cross of redemption, right here, now as yet trying to stand still these wretched shores of time, calling to my Beloved, drifting as dead wood, smooth and blanched white in the shallow grave beyond the shadow of any doubt, exhaled and trembling, shining in my own light, green-limbed and growing towards another sun. Love-Light, Ana
