Guest guest
Srange how the people who have nothing to say always say something. 5/8/06 L.E: Today I am at Dominquez High School in Compton California, USA. I am substitute teaching Mr. Vedder's Computer Education class, so the room is filled with computers. I have at least one hour free so here I am hacking away on the Niz which I really enjoy. There are not many things I enjoy. I don't smoke, drink or use drugs and am not interested in sports. I am single and unmarried so I don't carry those burdens and pleasures. I like making art and playing guitar, piano and singing, and have just completed a new song. I watch too much TV when I am home, but now, I am out of town, in Compton, living in my RV for a few days so there is no TV in my mobile home, and I listen instead to the radio. We receive KPFK a non-commercial radio station so I usually stay turned to that station which is progressive radio. This means the content is ultra-liberal rather than conservative. Sometimes I listen to religious christian radio or ultra conservative radio stations just to keep up and try to understand others, who are part of myself. The other day I bought some magnet inkjet paper. When it is printed, it sticks to metal as an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet. So I designed a layout saying: English Lessons: We come to you, Larry Epston: BA, MA, MCE, call---phone number. I am sticking five of these to my R.V. It's like fishing. Maybe I'll get a nibble. I taught English in Korea for three years, so I like teaching English. And Kim Chee as well. So there you are. Whether you care or not. Larry Epston www.epston.com p.s. Fifth hour was rather difficult. Forty students and thirty computers. Just crowded and loud. Some students just sat all hour and talked. They don't know enough to complain or how to change things. Then intruders came in. Large dark ones who wouldn't leave. Very uncomfortable. Finally the period is over and it's lunchtime and I have another free period, so I get 1 1/2 hours to go back to my R.V., eat lunch and relax before returning for period 7 and then I go to my health club parking lot to swim or have fresh sqeezed juice at the Mexican place in the plaza. Here I am as I am. Both in the universe and beyond it all in the same moment. How about you? How is your day going? Is there anyone there? Or here?
