T: Ever see " Leaves of Grass " ?

P; poor as I am, my apt. bldg. has a lawn,

so yes, I see blade of grass, and I read Whitman, too.

He is not a mystic poet in my book. Granted some of

his poems could be considered so.

T: or the complete works of Rainer Maria Rilke

or Rumi?

Heavens no! I have better things to do.

T: Generalizations about the ineffable are nonsense.

Did I write about the ineffable? I thought I wrote

about poetry. No telling what people will read into

what one writes!

The name of the post was 'Mystic Poetry'.

It is generally assumed that mystic poetry speaks of the ineffable.
