I think I read you wrong. I *really hate* when someone reads a message, comes up with their " diagnosis " of the other party, then proceeds to push their recommendation for the other party to conduct inquiry along the lines suggested. Inquiry is not something one identifies for someone else. Never. And I *really hate* the petty little play-acting that so pontificates. I was under the impression that you were doing that, but going back over messages seems I might have misread. and then, re: > > > > bottom line: thought is not important > > > > > > ** to whom? I really hate that kind of " who? " stuff also. Seems trivial, trite. Can't we move on from such? I'm not one to typically go " on the attack " like I have with you. Those who have known me for years here will tell you that. But I have been getting *sick and tired* of some of the mindless cutsie stuff I keep seeing here. So decided to push a little. All that being said, I couldn't help but note the honorable way you have handled it. So I learned something valuable about you in the process, it seems. I appreciate what you said, and I'm happy to ride the wave of co-participation on the list here. No matter what gets exchanged, or constructed about each other, this is our time together...until it ends. I know some of the stuff I've posted looks like hit-and- run attack, as you said, but actually quite alot of attention goes into a reply. Sometimes it just won't formulate, and the quip that comes out resolves some perception that it's time to move on. There's quite a volume here... And so...thanks again, Ken

Guest guest
I know as a new guy I should be passive and not speak... but:-) The need to be right is also the need to be more right than others... the opponents in the Game. The need to be right is about survival related rear and greed. But even " survival " is not the real source of the problem. The source of the problem is a sequence of events... The reaching for or the running away from, because the harder we try to force one pole and resist its opposite negative pole, the more we become one of those two poles and cease to be the neutrality that flows freely. It is like seeing something that first attracts our attention, then stopping to look at it, then wanting to know more, or have it, or correct it, or run from it... and finally we are so obsessed with this goal or problem that we are sucked into it and forget who we were. Bill's earlier comment to me about my " question " , to me is saying the same thing and providing a solution.
